Hi there! My name is Honey! Welcome to Hillbilly Homekeeper! I am a keeper of my home! I am happily married to my sweet, hardworking husband for twenty-five years now, and I have always been a large family homeschool mama to 7 precious kiddos. I have four young adult homeschool graduates aged 24, 22, 20, and 18, and I also have three kids still homeschooling, ages 17, 15, and 13. Our five youngest children still live at home. As you can imagine, we have a life filled with lots of fun and adventures.

My undergrad degree is a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Religion and Social Science emphasis), and I have a M.Div.-Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries, all from Liberty University. I am passionate about correct theology, biblical womanhood, preservation of the American family unit, and conservative politics and citizenship.

I am an unapologetic Christian Conservative of the Southern Baptist tradition. I am a FREEDOM PATRIOT, and I believe that the USA is the best place in the world. I have been a conservative family blogger for a lot of years, but I have often times self-censored for fear of offending others. Now that I am in my forties (ahem…late forties), I no longer worry if anyone is offended. If someone is offended by posts about homeschooling, home keeping, and Jesus, the problem is in their own heart, not mine. We are fighting against powers and principalities of a dark world in this day and age, we must never be afraid to speak the truth in love, especially when it is our God given right and ability to do so!
